Small and quaint. The dishes are a mixture of Swabian (broom) cuisine and traditional home cooking as you know it from home. Best bratwurst ever! Reservation highly recommended.

Rustic Vesperstube with a great atmosphere. Tasty homemade sausage (blood, liver sausage, etc. as Vesperteller or warm) and unusual creations such. Chilibrat sausage or winter rat sausage. There are Spielbacher and Herbsthäuser beer, local wines and of course a decent schnapps. Contrary to other reviews, the family is very friendly and cared for their guests. We will gladly come again.

Warm restaurant and hospitality, excellent home made food, the Lady was so kind and caring. Ask the owners the local digestives, you will appreciate so much it as we did! Highly recommended, and will be coming here next time.
MoreWe were there last night with the former "round table" of our technical teachers at the Künzelsau vocational school, for dinner and also chatting there as a guest. Very good food, friendly landlords with whom I could also have very good conversations. The food (I had eaten twice, first the delicious crusty roast with potato salad, then a couple of sausages) was very good and, what is very important, honestly cooked; i.e. without any flavor enhancer, glutamate, yeast extract. I am very sensitive to that. Here I had no "aftermath" to complain about. We also had a taste of wild boar smoked meat. Very tender and tasty. The boss bakes her own very good bread in a wood oven. We would love to go there again.
